Our Services

Oaks Dynamics provides services to families in Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Harford County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, and Maryland at large. We serve both children and adult populations.

We Offer:
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

ABA is a science-based therapy that focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as social skills, communication, reading, and academics as well as adaptive learning skills, such as gross and fine motor skills, hygiene, grooming, domestic capabilities, punctuality, and job competence.

ABA is effective for children and adults with psychological and developmental disorders in a variety of settings, including schools, workplaces, homes, and clinics. It has also been shown that consistent ABA can significantly improve behaviors and skills and decrease the need for special services.

Intensive Individualized Support Services

This service is a treatment plan driven service. It is individualized with goal-directed and task-oriented activities. This is purely a 1-1 client- technician service in the client’s home and in the community. When providing this service, Direct Care Technicians (DCT) will receive ongoing training and supervision from a certified professional.

Some of the services provided by the DCT will include:

  • Engage individuals in community integration activities.

  • Provide individuals with behavior management skills, improving the individual’s ability to function at home and perform daily life skills.

  • Assist individuals in improving positive self-expression and interpersonal communication which gives the individual a sense of security and safety.

Therapeutic Integration

Our Therapeutic integration is an after-school program that provides opportunities for our participants to form bonds and friendships while targeting various skill areas such as language development, communication, socialization, recreation, behavior management/self-awareness and more. Although the therapeutic care program is designed as an after-school program, it would also be offered on school-closing days and weekends.

Respite Care

Respite Care is a program designed to provide parents with a break. The families can leave their child with the trained direct care technician, who provides services such as: providing daily living assistance for the individual, engage the individual in activities that interest them, handle crisis as they arise, provide overnight services, and take the individual for community and other social outings as designated by the family.
